SSG B went to work this morning and got THE BEST NEWS! His command is going to let him work from home! So, he won't have to use up all of his leave and he can be with us 24/7 so we don't have to rely on other people (since there aren't that many people that we can actually rely on). Of course, I have some of the best friends here who will come over to keep me company and I LOVE that! I was really worried about what they would say, since it is the army and all. I mean in reality they could have been like, tough!
Things are going good for me and baby though. No contractions and I'm just trying to take it easy. Which is easier said than done. I have found the one thing that I can help with around here -- folding laundry! SSG B brings it to me and I fold it or put it on a hanger, and he puts it away. I like being able to help, even if it's just that one little thing. We also washed all of Hannah's preemie clothes and packed them in my hospital bag, just in case. It was actually kind of emotional for me. I never thought we would have to use those clothes again, and remembering everything Hannah went through and how small she was brought back a lot of emotions. Hopefully, things stay like this for the next five and a half weeks. I would still be early, but the baby should be much bigger and stronger.
I will update if anything changes. Or if I need to vent about people being dumb.
I'm so glad he's getting to be home!! Seriously though, if you need help I'll come out ASAP!
