Over-committed

Often I dog sit for my neighbor. She usually pays me (extra money is always a good thing!) very well. I love her doggie (who is about 10 times bigger than my dogs), so it doesn't really matter to me either way...but I do appreciate the extra cash. She asked me to dog sit for a whole week while she goes home to visit her parents, so naturally I agreed.

I have another friend who also asked me to dog-sit while she goes home for a wedding. Her dog is bigger than the one mentioned in the previous paragraph. And he isn't used to being around small children, so he often knocks Hannah down with his tail. He is super friendly, and well-mannered....but I don't think he realizes how large he is.

Apparently, I double-booked myself! Both of my friends text me and said that their pets would be arriving today. So, not only do I have an extra (large) dog this week, I will have two. Plus my two small pups. Four dogs. And a toddler. I am just super glad that both of the dogs are well behaved. Otherwise, I might have had a breakdown. Next time I will be sure to write the dates down when asked to dog-sit. Hopefully they become fast friends...
